Sylva’s Freedom Park at Mark Watson Park offers visitors a chance to see full-sized replicas of some of the nation’s most important documents: the Declaration of Independence, United States Constitution, and Bill of Rights. This trail is a local favorite and offers accessible restrooms and parking. This one-mile, out-and-back trail starts by crossing an arched footbridge, then winds along a scenic stretch of the Tuckasegee River. Families with mixed mobility will find this an ideal location.
